Climate Resilience: A Defining Priority for COP30

Climate resilience. We expect this to be a major topic at COP30.

Resilience has many dimensions, and the first amongst them is social. Around the world, people are showing extraordinary courage and creativity in the face of change. From rural communities to cities, human beings are adapting to new realities, turning challenges such as droughts, floods and rising temperatures into opportunities for innovation and collaboration.

Everywhere we look, people are working together to build a stronger, more sustainable future.

Climate is, indeed, reshaping our agri-food systems. Our systems are learning not only to mitigate climate impacts but to adapt rapidly. This is the moment to ensure that more climate funding supports the agri-food systems that nourish people and sustain our planet.
