Networking is the buzzword for meeting people, making connections, getting to know others and them getting to know you. On the evening of 16th May 2024, the Emerging Ag team hosted a Nairobi networking party at the Shamba Café in Loresho, Nairobi, Kenya. The aim of this event was to bring together our network of colleagues, clients, and friends in Nairobi.
Although it was a rainy evening, our guests arrived on time and were welcomed with a warm greeting from one of our Emerging team members. Once the room was full and appetizers had been served the best meal of the night was opened. The Taco Station! This taco bar was a fan favorite that had a variety of options to build your meal and had everyone lining up and coming back for more.
Towards the end of the event, our President, Robynne Anderson shared brief remarks, thanking everyone for honoring the invitation and expressing gratitude to all the guests for their outstanding efforts in advancing global agriculture. After this, guests continued enjoying the party while capturing memories at the photo booth. Everyone appreciated the relaxed yet professional atmosphere, the delicious food, and the opportunity to form meaningful connections.
The Soirée was a true success, leaving everyone with unforgettable memories and a desire for more celebrations like this in the future. The event not only provided an enjoyable evening but also strengthened the professional network of all attendees.

Robynne and her team have done amazing work for POGA in an awareness campaign to include oat products in the diets of Mexican consumers. Their work with a website showing the latest oat recipes, and their work with the Mexican Diabetes Federation and Mexican Ministry of Health, has helped see major increase in oat exports to Mexico. Thank you!
