Join the Celebration: Two Weeks Until World Milk Day 2024!

The highly anticipated World Milk Day is approaching! Established by the United Nations and  Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to acknowledge the dairy sector’s profound impact on society, this annual celebration has been observed since 2001. The World Milk Day 2024 celebration will take place on Saturday, June 1.

This year’s theme will focus on celebrating the vital role dairy plays in delivering quality nutrition to nourish the world. Dairy is an accessible, affordable, and nutrient-dense food, and an essential part of balanced diets across the world.

Furthermore, through initiatives like Pathways to Dairy Net Zero, the dairy sector is advancing sustainability practices imperative for environmental preservation and the well-being of future generations.

During the World Milk Day celebration, dairy enthusiasts across the planet, seize the opportunity to organize celebration activities, amplify their voices and passionately promote the goodness of milk.

With just two weeks remaining, the timing is ideal to get involved and make your mark in commemorating World Milk Day 2024 alongside the global community of team dairy. Campaign registration remains open on the World Milk Day website. Whether through a virtual seminar, a social media campaign, or a local milk tasting event, each initiative contributes to raising awareness about the importance of dairy in our diets.
