Rethinking Team Efficiency in a Virtual World

One of the things that sets Emerging ag apart is that we have been fully virtual from the very beginning. This enables us to identify, hire and retain the best talent, no matter where they are in the world.

To better manage multiple projects, track budgets, and streamline collaboration across teams, geographies and time zones, we recently adopted Runn, a project management tool that enables real-time budget monitoring and streamlined workflows.

With Runn, we can forecast time and cost by person and project, monitor capacity through intuitive color-coded visuals, and instantly compare projected workloads against available budgets. This has allowed us to make adjustments quickly and efficiently.

Managers have actively engaged with the platform, scheduling assignments thoughtfully and revising project plans as needed. Meanwhile, colleagues across the company have adapted by recording their time accurately and in alignment with project structures, ensuring the data we gather is reliable and actionable.

This shared effort has already led to noticeable improvements in how we work. By combining the right technology with a dedicated team, we’ve created a more agile, responsive way of operating.
