We are living through a period of profound disruption\u2014a true sea change in how the world operates. In moments like these, when priorities shift and institutions are tested, one principle must remain constant: putting people first. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The rural communities that sustain our agri-food systems are the backbone of global food security and economic stability. Yet, too often, they are overlooked or deprioritized in times of change. We must ensure they are treated with dignity, their voices heard, and their contributions recognized. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This commitment to respect must extend across the entire ecosystem\u2014 throughout the multilateral system, throughout academia, throughout our science community, throughout our farming community, throughout our business, throughout our civil society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now, more than ever, we need clear vision and constructive engagement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
