From September 6 \u2013 10<\/strong>, actors in the agricultural sector will gather to dialogue on how to change the status quo for Africa at the African Green Revolution Forum (AGRF) 2021 Summit<\/a>. All around the world, global leaders, researchers, heads of state, and several other stakeholders have noted with great concern the importance of food systems. This year also marks a period of recovery for the world after extensive lockdowns, high numbers in COVID-related deaths, and economic regression. In reflection of these key pathways, the African Green Revolution Forum (AGRF) has selected the theme \u201cPathways to recovery and resilient food systems\u201d. Just like previous years, sessions and dialogues will be based on ten thematic areas including agri-investment & SME finance, youth employment in agriculture, and ag-tech & digitalization.<\/p>\n

The programme <\/a>features several exciting events such as the High-Level Plenary Sessions where pre-eminent speakers will deep dive into the various themes and unpack issues pertinent to Africa, the Farmers Forum which will shine a spotlight on the continent\u2019s farmers, and the High-Level Youth Townhall, a session which will elevate the discussion on harnessing the power of young people to transform the continent\u2019s food system. The Deal Room will once again bring together investors and budding agripreneurs for collaboration.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The AGRF 2021 Summit will mark a de\ufb01ning moment in showcasing and unleashing the political, policy, and \ufb01nancial potential and innovations as well as commitments the continent has made.
